Hola amigos!!

My name is Ramprasad. Though I am studying computer science I am really not that much into it when compared to football (soccer) and few other sports(F1 and tennis to some extent, I don’t follow cricket much ). I have been following football very keenly since 2002 FIFA World Cup. My favorite club is Liverpool FC. I also like Real Madrid CF though I consider Liverpool FC very close to my heart. My idols are Gerrard, Fernando Torres, Raul, Xabi Alonso, Kakà, Beckham and Zidane. I like Lewis Hamilton in F1 and Roger Federer in tennis. Coming back to football I don’t have any particular favorite national team, it keeps changing often(if India were there no doubt I will be cheering for our country ). This World Cup I will be supporting for Netherlands(I know they haven’t got much chance) and I would also like the hot favorites Spain to live up to the expectation and try to win the Cup.

I have previously written posts for my friends(that includes a brief stint couple of years back in Yusuf’s onlinearch blog). And so here is my first blog post after a gap of almost 10 months .

PS: For all the football freaks out there in India(others check your local listings) tune in to Ten Sports at 22:30(in case you wish to watch it from pre match build-up) to watch the UEFA Champions League Final between Internazionale Milan(Italy) and Bayern Munich(Germany) at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, Madrid(Spain). Both clubs will be aiming to create history as they both have the opportunity to become the first club(from their countries of course) to win a historic treble. Also this is the first time a Champions League Final will be played on a Saturday night rather than the usual weekday Champions League action. Even if you aren’t a football freak, just watch it. It promises to be an awesome match for sure.
